UN OHCHR-EAA Youth Rights Academy 2025 (Funded to Geneva)

In the framework of the project ‘Working with and for youth in vulnerable situations including conflict, violence, and insecurity’, OHCHR and Education Above All (EAA) are organizing a Youth Rights Academy, that will take place in Geneva from 7 to 11 July 2025.The Youth Rights Academy is designed to strengthen the capacities of young advocates and practitioners working to advance human rights, particularly in contexts of conflict and insecurity. This program offers a comprehensive exploration of key definitions, concepts, and frameworks related to the rights of young people and intersecting issues. Participants will gain in-depth knowledge and practical tools to address human rights challenges in their communities through advocacy, education, and policy engagement.

By fostering critical analysis and collaborative learning, the academy equips youth with the skills needed to identify systemic injustices and propose solutions. Emphasizing both theory and practice, it empowers participants to become catalysts for change, promoting justice, equity, and inclusion. This initiative aims to cultivate a new generation of leaders dedicated to upholding and advancing human rights in diverse and challenging environments.

Costs of Youth Rights Academy

  • Organisers will cover expenses of participants related to their travel and stay in Geneva during the academy.
